The Thorium AR Hoody from Arc'teryx is a down jacket that you can perfectly wear as a middle layer under a shell jacket when the weather is very cold and wet. You can also wear the jacket independently if it stays reasonably dry outside. The jacket is very lightweight and compact to store, as well as water-resistant and wind-resistant. In addition, the jacket is lined with down for optimum temperature regulation and insulation. The jacket is breathable and is very comfortable. Finally, the jacket has a StormHood™ and several secure pockets. The jacket has a regular fit, comes to hip length, and weighs approx. 420 grams.
